With over 20 years across film, finance, and coaching, I’ve managed investments and coached leaders as well as individuals in prison and recovery.

The hardest problems I’ve faced couldn’t be solved by strategy or intelligence alone. They are rooted in unspoken values, beliefs we never questioned, and untamed emotions we rationalize while they run the show from behind the scenes.

I’ve seen too many talented leaders sabotage their success by chasing outcomes and ignoring the inner state of their teams—and themselves. The cost shows up as burnout, conflict, and shortsighted decisions that cause real damage.

I’ve spent years listening to people both broken and brave—from my early work as a neuroscience and addictions nurse to over a decade of work as a freelance writer.

I’m drawn to real stories. Not the polished versions—people aren’t meant to be brands—but the stories we all have: about dead ends, luck, loss, adaptation, and finding what we didn’t know we needed. The people who trusted me with their stories have trained my eye for what’s easy to overlook: common courage, effort when no one is looking, and the small moments that quietly change the trajectory of a life.

My work is about making those moments visible because insight often comes through recognition. When we see ourselves and our patterns more clearly, change becomes possible.

Alongside my writing, I study developmental psychology through the Neufeld Institute. The science of emotion and relationships has taught me much about how connection is the foundation for growth, healing, and true potential.
